Year of the Sheep
From 2013 to 2016, I worked on a self-initiated project, designing, printing and sending New Year’s greeting cards to my friends. The graphics of the cards were inspired by zodiac animals that symbolize each year.
In 2015, the Year of the Blue Sheep, when I was very busy adjusting to life as an exchange student in Paris, I designed and printed greeting cards in May. I created the alphabet with a thread derived from the blue woolmark that symbolizes the blue sheep. Using the thread, I wrote “Sorry, is this sheep too late?” in French. The card was printed by Riso Presto in Paris.
